Angel Yoga Buddies

Angels Weekly went to Bikram yoga with Angels pitcher Latroy Hawkins and Jose Mota. It was a fun experience, but I'm not sure if 108 degree yoga is for me :) I think I'll stick with power flow.

Spartan Nation

We were at the game of the week and so was the BCS Trophy as the #10 ranked Michigan State was playing #20 Notre Dame…but we all know how this game played out. If you missed it, Notre Dame crushed MSU 20-3.

They had live lobsters at their tailgate, and they were delicious.

I became a part of the halftime show with Zeke the Wonder dog :)

Adventure Jacket

Jacket: Gap // top: Henri Girl // shorts: vintage Levi // shoes: Jack Purcell // shades: Ray Ban // watch: Michael Kors

On my days off, dressing comfortably and casually is how you'lll find me...and this jacket is a new staple in my closet. It's perfect for those cooler summer nights, paired with shorts and flats, or adding a funky touch to skinny jeans and heals for fall.

Next Stop IOWA

We made it just in time for a bitter in-state rivalry between Iowa and Iowa State. Another plus, President Obama was in town and speaking on campus.

This week, I got a formal interview with head coach Kirk Ferentz, learned some moves from the dance team, and got to experience the craziness of Iowa tailgating.

The morning of game day, Iowa City revolves around Kinnick Stadium, and every inch of parking space or lawn is devoted to tailgating.

Tailgate 48 - Ohio State

With college football in the air, I'm pretty sure I landed every fan's dream job hosting Tailgate 48. Every weekend we travel to a different college campus with the goal of having as much fun as we possibly can. This includes finding the campus traditions, best food spots, talking with coaches and players, finding the best tailgates, and of course, having the best seats in the house for the big game!

This season we kicked off Tailgate 48 at THE Ohio State University.

Using my journalistic instincts, after the game I was determined to get a word with head coach Urban Meyer. I fought my way through the crowd, past the barriers and made my way to Coach. His face was priceless, I fully caught him off guard as he was being escorted off the field. Before he could react, my question was out and my BTN mic was in place. Thankfully he answered. SUCCESS!
