Back in Europe

After finishing our coverage of Langraaf Crashed Ice, we had an evening and morning to explore Holland and Belgium. I like to call it the super tourist :)

Red Bull's Crashed Ice

Red Bull kicked off their Signature Series on NBC with the crowd favorite event known as Crashed Ice. 

Only two years deep in America, Crashed Ice has captivated it's audience around the US.

For those who are unfamiliar with this jaw dropping sport, think down hill ice cross plus crazy obstacles and hockey gear. Four fearless skaters race down the treacherous ice track, trying to stay on their feet and cross the finish line first to be named the Crashed Ice Champion.

Inspiring the Uninspired

If you don't know Cory Hahn, you should. This young man is an inspiration to never give up on life and live each day to its fullest. 

Cory was an All-American & California's Mr. Baseball who attended Mater Dei HS in OC. His senior year he was drafted by the Padres and had a hand full of scholarship offers. After deciding he wanted to grow as an individual and receive an education, Cory committed to ASU. As a freshman he made the varsity team and in his 3rd game against New Mexico had a life changing injury. While sliding into second base, Cory slid head first into the players leg and was immediately paralyzed. 

Now in this new chapter in life, Cory works towards gaining motion and his independence through daily physical therapy and a positive state of mind. 

Last weekend Trinity Bat Co. put on a home run derby to help raise funds for Cory. The outcome was incredible and the support was truly heart warming.

Field of Dreams

For the second off season in a row the Angels grabbed the top free-agent on the market. Last years Pujols and C.J. pick up are now the perfect compliment to this years signing of Josh Hamilton. With the combination of Mike Trout, Albert Pujols, Josh Hamilton and Mark Trumbo, I'd say that the big A has definitely turned into a field of dreams.

Christmas Attire

My family is usually pretty casual around the holidays, except on Christmas Eve. I LOVE dressing up, and this firing red-lace mini was perfect for the occasion. The long sleeves and high neck line kept it classy (with how short the dress is), and the lace sleeves and back add the perfect party dress touch.
